Kevin was born and raised in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy.

Kevin arrived at Stowe Mountain Resort in 2004 as the Grow-In Superintendent responsible for quality control during development and construction of the golf course as well as finishing the final seeding of greens, tees, and fairways. Since that time, Kevin guided Stowe Mountain Club on a path to successfully implement and complete the Audubon International Signature Certification process, the first in its class in Vermont.

In 2013, the position Head of Golf Maintenance at Stowe Mountain Resort was awarded to Kevin. This position is responsible for the golf course maintenance operations at both Stowe Mountain Club and Stowe Country Club.

While serving as president of the Vermont Golf Course Superintendents Association (VTGCSA) from 2010-2012, Kevin helped craft legislation to protect golf courses in Vermont from restrictive fertilizer laws. Since then he has spearheaded a program in cooperation with the VT Department of Conservation to promote public recognition of environmental excellence for golf courses called the Vermont Business Environmental Partnership for Golf Courses. As a leader in this program. Stowe Mountain Golf Club became one of the first to complete the program and earn the distinction of "Green Links". Kevin currently sits on the VTGCSA board of directors as the Past President and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America certification committee.
